Absolutely, heated apparel is made from wires separated by a waterproof membrane, making them safe to use in damp conditions. Therefore, your skin does not have direct contact with the wires. So don't worry, heated clothing is safe for you!
Our heated jackets are made from a blend of polyester and polyamide. These materials give each jacket a thin, lightweight body that’s resistant to both wind and water.
Each of our heated jackets has an easily accessible push button that controls its heat. All you have to do is turn on the USB powered battery then press the button to set your vest temperature to a low, medium, or high heat setting.

A: To turn on the the power level, press the control button located above the chest zipper on the left side of the jack, and hold the button down for 3 seconds or more. This sends the Heated Clothing into pre-heat mode, which provides accelerated heat output to quickly warm you before it drops down to a medium heat output. The control button will fade in and out with a red color in this pre-heat mode. You can then control the heat level in the following ways:
Push the button again to put the jacket in HIGH (button will light up solid red).
Push again to go to MEDIUM heat (button will light up white).
Push again to go to LOW heat (button will light up blue).
Push again and the jacket will go back to HIGH.
Our heated jackets are easy to clean. Simply remove the battery and either wash it by hand or on a gentle machine cycle. Be sure to avoid bleaching and ironing, as these processes can ruin your vest.
Each garment can be powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery can sits in an internal zippered pocket and is connected by a built-in USB cable.
